Radiographers

Duties

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with Perth Radiological Clinic protocols and the Radiation Safety Act 1975
  • Caring for patients by maintaining a high standard of patient care, safety and confidentiality
  • Correctly interpreting referrals for each examination and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed as required
  • Assisting Radiologists as required

Personal Requirements

To be considered for any radiographer position you will need to demonstrate in your application:

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and licensing with the Radiological Council
  • Eligibility for ordinary membership with the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR)
  • Commitment to continued professional self development and maintenance of required CPD register
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team where workload and hours are shared among the team
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and use of initiative
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care
  • Interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise effectively with people of diverse social and cultural backgrounds
  • Previous work experience as a Radiographer
