Overview
Stephen graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1979. He completed his radiology training in 1989 and a one year MRI fellowship under Dr William G Bradley in California in 1990. Upon returning to Western Australia he took up a position as Specialist Radiologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital becoming the Co-ordinator of the MRI unit in 1993. He joined Perth Radiological Clinic in 1994 and was made Partner that year. In 2000 he became Chairman of the Partnership, a position he held until 2009. He was also Chairman of PerthRadClinic Ltd from 2002 – 2009. In 2012 Stephen became a Non Executive Director of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, formerly the Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR).
