Below is a list of requirements for you to follow prior to your procedure.

Please note, you may be in the department for up to 30 minutes for this procedure.
Fast for 2 Hours prior to your appointment.
Nothing to eat. You can drink water during this time
Do continue to take your regular medication as normal.
Do bring your reading glasses with you.
You will be required to complete some paperwork on arrival, if you require reading glasses please bring them with you
Do bring your Referral, Medicare, Concession and DVA Card and any previous related scans to your appointment.

Do any of the following apply to you? If so, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • You are diabetic and unable to follow the instructions above.
  • You are on dialysis.
  • You are 16 years or younger.
  • You weigh 200kg or more.
  • You are non-english speaking and require us to arrange an interpreter to be present at the appointment.
