Dr Bann Saffar

MBChB, FRANZCR

Dr Bann Saffar has been part of PRC’s team of expert radiologists since 2020.

Bann completed her medical training at Al-Mustansiriyah University, Baghdad. She then moved to Sydney in 2002 to undertake her internship, and completed her residency and Radiology training in Perth. She concluded a Breast Imaging fellowship at Royal Perth and a Fellowship in Thoracic Imaging Division of Diagnostic Radiology in Ontario, Canada.

In 2016, Bann gained Level B CT Coronary Angiography Specialist (CTCA) status from the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in CT Coronary Angiography, RANZCR.

Bann brings a wealth of thoracic and breast imaging experience to Perth Radiological Clinic and provides comprehensive insights into complex medical conditions. She continues to work in BreastScreen WA and as a consultant radiologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
