Dr Bill Breidahl

Dr Breidahl has been part of PRC’s team of expert radiologists since 1996
Dr Bill Breidahl is a local medical graduate who also underwent his radiology training in WA. He has over three decades of experience. He is currently a Partner at Perth Radiological Clinic, a position he has held since 1996.
Bill graduated from UWA in 1986 before furthering his medical studies in England during which he obtained the MRCP. He then moved back to Western Australia, where he completed his radiological training in 1994. He was awarded the HR Sear prize in his final radiological exams as recognition for the most outstanding performance in these exams Australia-wide. He then received the Thomas Baker fellowship, which assisted in his fellowship training overseas.
He completed his musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of Michigan, USA, and then joined the Perth Radiological Clinic team. He became a Partner in 1996.
It’s safe to say that Bill has had an exciting and varied career. He was appointed the attending Radiologist to all athletes at the Atlanta Olympic games in 1996, and again for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and provided the radiology services to the 2003 World Cup rugby games held in Perth. In 2007 he was elected president of the Australasian Musculoskeletal Imaging Group (AMSIG), and took up a role as Clinical Senior Lecturer at the UWA School of Surgery from 2008 to 2020.
A lifelong love of helping others, Bill is a highly-published expert, contributing to over 60 papers scientific publications.
