Dr Declan Neeson

Dr Neeson has been a member of Perth Radiological Clinic since September 2023.
Dr Declan Neeson is a consultant radiologist specialising in musculoskeletal, head & neck and emergency radiology. He is currently based in Belfast, N. Ireland working locally as a tertiary centre NHS consultant and remotely for Perth Radiology Clinic group.
He graduated Queen’s University in Belfast in 2011. Prior to radiology he completed several years of general surgical training gaining membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014. He started clinical radiology training in 2016 in the Northern Ireland NHS deanery. After completing his training in 2021 he gained fellowship to the Royal College of Radiologists UK and travelled to Perth for fellowship that same year. He completed a diagnostic/interventional musculoskeletal fellowship in 2022 working across Fremantle, Fiona Stanley and Rockingham hospitals. He subsequently completed an ENT imaging fellowship in 2023, also within the South Metropolitan Health Service.
He obtained fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in July 2023 and joined the Perth Radiological Clinic team in September that year. He moved back to Ireland in 2024 to be closer to family becoming the first international employee in the PRC team.
