Dr James Hodgkinson
BSc(hons), BSc(Physiotherapy), MBBS, FRANZCR
Dr James Hodgkinson has been part of PRC’s team of expert radiologists since 2020.
James graduated from his MBBS in Sydney in 2010, and completed his Radiology training in Perth in 2020. He had completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Curtin University in 2000 having already attained an Honors degree in Science from UWA in 2004. He has worked with the Brisbane Lions Football Club between 2000-2004, and a number of national and Australian Institute of Sports teams.
Upon relocating back to Perth in 2011, he begun working at Royal Perth Hospital and entered Radiology in 2017, and joined our team in 2020 after completing his Fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology with Dr David Connell at Imaging Olympic Park.
He still retains his passion for sports, and is an active member of the North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club. He is also a medical volunteer at Lifecycle Canteen Australia; recreational events and camps to support and empower young people living with cancer since 2012.
