Dr Sam Cherian

MBBS, FRCR, FRANZCR

Sam completed his medical degree (MBBS) from Manipal University, India in 2004. He spent the next 6 years in London, Manchester and Perth, Western Australia, gaining experience as a junior medical officer, rotating through various medical and surgical specialties. He commenced radiology training in 2010 through the Western Australian Radiology Training Programme, rotating through all the major teaching hospitals in Perth. He obtained fellowships with both Royal College of Radiologists, United Kingdom (FRCR) in 2014, and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2015. He worked for a year as a locum consultant with Perth Radiological Clinic and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in 2015, before undertaking a Musculoskeletal and Sports Imaging fellowship (2016) with Fowler Simmons Radiology in South Australia. He returned to Perth Radiological Clinic in 2017 and was made a partner in 2021. Sam also holds a Consultant Radiologist appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
