Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) has expanded its Midland based services, across two existing clinics – Victoria Street and St John of God Hospital Midland. The increased capacity of these clinics will provide the eastern corridor of Perth with easy access to more appointments across a comprehensive range of high-quality, diagnostic medical imaging services.

With significant demand for ultrasound services in the Midland area, the PRC Victoria Street clinic is now fitted with a dedicated ultrasound wing, incorporating 17 rooms in total. An additional CT machine has also been installed totalling 3 CT machines, and helping to cover more patients’ needs each day.

As the clinic is reaching 30 years old, major efforts across the board have also been made to modernise and aid accessibility for patients, making their experience seamless and comfortable.

The Victoria Street clinic is one of PRC’s largest clinics in Perth. These enhancements will allow for better access to appointment times and services, improving patient outcomes and providing comprehensive care.

The Midland Hospital clinic, located at St John of God Hospital Midland, has also been expanded with an additional MRI machine as well as PET CT services. PET in conjunction with CT plays a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, servicing both inpatients and outpatients at Midland Hospital and the whole eastern corridor.

These specialised services provide a patient’s medical team with a clear understanding of the diagnosis, leading to a more targeted and specialised treatment plan.

“We are excited to be expanding our services in Midland,” said Rebecca Banks, CEO of Perth Radiological Clinic. “Our goal has always been to provide patients with the highest quality care, and the expansion of these two clinics will allow us to better serve the community.”

PRC is also adding more staff to support the increased demand and capacity. This includes additional radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and support staff, all of whom are committed to providing exceptional care for patients.

“We are proud to be part of the Midland community, and we are committed to providing patients with the best possible care,” said Dr Gavin Chapeikin. “The expansion of our services at these two locations will allow us to help even more patients receive the diagnostic imaging services they need in the eastern suburbs.”

PRC’s Midland Victoria Street clinic and Midland Hospital clinic are now open and accepting appointments for the expanded range of imaging services.
