Below is a list of DO’s and DONT’s we require you to follow in the lead up to your procedure. Please read through them carefully.
If your referral is for any of the following please contact our clinic to book an urgent appointment.
- Pulmonary angiogram or CTPA or looking for pulmonary embolism (PE)
- Head angiogram
- Neck angiogram for stroke.

![]() | Do drink 2 to 3 cups of water in the 2 hours leading up to your appointment, you may go to the toilet. |
![]() | Do continue to take all your regular medication as normal. |
![]() | Some restrictions apply for patients referred by their General Practitioner (GP). If you are referred by a GP please make sure we receive your referral prior to your appointment day. |
![]() | Do bring your reading glasses with you. You will be required to complete some paperwork on arrival, if you require reading glasses please bring them with you. |
![]() | Do bring your Referral, Medicare, Concession and DVA Card and any previous related scans to your appointment. |
Do any of the following apply to you? If so, please contact us as soon as possible.
- You are a diabetic and unable to follow instructions above.
- You are on dialysis.
- You are 16 years or younger.
- You weigh 200kg or more.
- You are non-english speaking and require us to arrange an interpreter to be present at the appointment.
