Below is a list of requirements for you to follow prior to your procedure
 | Don’t have any caffeine for 4 hours prior to appointment. It is very important that you do not eat chocolate, take any cough medicine containing caffeine or drink coffee or tea, including decaffeinated drinks or soft drinks containing caffeine. | |
 | Don’t smoke for 4 hours prior to appointment Including substitutes such as patches/vapes/nicotine gum. | |
 | Don’t strenuously exercise for 4 hours prior to your appointment. | |
 | Do continue to take your regular medication as normal. | |
 | Do bring your reading glasses with you. You will be required to complete some paperwork on arrival, if you require reading glasses please bring them with you. | |
 | Do send us a copy of your referral if you have not yet done so. We require this prior to your appointment. | |
 | Do contact us if you would like a quote for your scan. This study is currently not claimable from Medicare. Please contact our staff for a cost estimate. |
Do any of the following apply to you? If so, please contact us as soon as possible.
- You have a coronary bypass graft or coronary stent.
- You weigh 200kg or more.
- You are non-english speaking and require us to arrange an interpreter to be present at the appointment.
