Before the colonoscopy your bowel needs to be prepared so that it is free of faecal material for this examination, which means you need to have a special low residue diet and laxatives prior to the scan

Below is a list of DO’s and DONT’s we require you to follow in the lead up to your procedure. Please read through them carefully.

COLLECT Preparation from one of our Clinics at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
As part of your preparation you will be required to alter your diet and take laxatives which you can collect from our clinic
TWO days prior to your appointment
Over the next two days and on the day of your scan please follow the diet and instructions per the information collected from our clinic.
DO continue to take your regular medication as normal.
Do bring your reading glasses with you.
You will be required to complete some paperwork on arrival, if you require reading glasses please bring them with you
Do bring your Referral, Medicare, Concession and DVA Card and any previous related scans to your appointment.
