Below is a list of requirements for you to follow prior to your procedure.
![]() | Do NOT take aspirin or anti-inflammatories for 7 days before your procedure and 7 days after your procedure. If you are prescribed these medicines from your doctor, please contact them to see if you can cease this medication for the above period of time. (If your doctor has any queries, they are welcome to call one of our radiologists to discuss). Do NOT cease any medication without first discussing with your doctor. |

![]() | Do bring your reading glasses with you. You will be required to complete some paperwork on arrival, if you require reading glasses please bring them with you |
![]() | Do bring your Referral, Medicare, Concession and DVA Card and any previous related scans to your appointment. |
![]() | Do rest after your Procedure. It is best if you perform only light duties for 24 hours after your procedure. You may find you experience some discomfort for up few days which will slowly decrease. |

- You are diabetic.
- You are pregnant or breast feeding.
- You suffer from severe claustrophobia.
- The patient is non-english speaking and requires us to arrange an interpreter to be present at the appointment.
