Perth Radiological Clinic is delighted to announce that it has amalgamated Oceanic Medical Imaging (OMI) into the PRCL group. From Monday October 5, 2015 Perth Radiological Clinic will operate the OMI Palmyra and OMI Murdoch practices as Perth Radiological Clinic (PRC) and a new company “Oceanic Molecular Pty Ltd” has been created that provides high end PET services at Hollywood Hospital.
The new PRC Murdoch practice at the Wexford Medical Centre is situated within Perth’s largest health precinct located between the St John of God Murdoch Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital. It occupies part of the ground floor level of this seven storey medical centre that has 70 consulting suites providing a wide range of medical specialty services including orthopaedics, cardiology, obstetrics and urology. The new PRC Palmyra branch is conveniently located on Canning Highway close to Fremantle and surrounding suburbs.
PRC Chairman Dr Martin Blake says “The merger is a great fit for both organisations. The doctors and staff at OMI share a similar ethos to PRC and they have been exceptional at new development and innovation in molecular imaging and are well respected in the research arena with strong ties to the public hospitals, universities, clinical trials units and research organisations (such as the McCusker Foundation). There is a commitment to introduce novel nuclear medicine techniques and PET tracers with an aim to develop a world class molecular imaging platform with regional links and partnerships. Oceanic Molecular will assist the introduction of Ga-68 tracers at Shenton House as well as radionuclide oncology therapy”.
